Queen Street Apartment

Previously an Art Gallery, the brief called for modifying and maximising the 115m2 (approx.) floor area into an inner city chic Auckland apartment.

Design challenges included the need for natural sunlight into rear spaces, an inviting entry zone, large open plan Kitchen/Living/Dining, extensive storage, three ‘bedrooms’ including a Master Suite with bathroom and a separate guest bathroom.  

Design constraints often forces design innovation, where sleeping pods, multi-function spaces and mezzanine platforms play a part in maximising the illusion of additional space.
